My old property manager, ****** ****** from Jack White REAL Estate is basically providing information to my family as they are trying to move into an old apartment that I lived in and Ive read my my lease and she is not allowed to do that and Ive read a document stating that she is not allowed to indulge in information about my residency while I was there, and after I leave to other people, regardless, if we are related or not and I have giving her multiple options to communicate with me and she still chooses not to but shes able to communicate withmy family. I should say either text messages phone call or email and I have given her all my information for her to communicate with me, she still refuses to contact me are being in contact with me and I just feel as though it is not right that she is telling my information without coming to talk to me first everything that know, I do not know everything that shes telling them she never told me.Business Response

To Whom it may concern,
There was no confidential information shared with anyone regarding this tenant. What this previous tenant submitted as a text message was accurate and a statement of fact. The previous tenant did leave the unit dirty including leaving debris and it looked as if they attempted to paint a wall. This information is relevant as this is a property condition issue that requires the property manager to hire contractors to repair, clean and paint the premises prior to re-renting the property. This affects a new tenant's potential move in date for which the interested party wanted as February 1st and was not able to be met.
This previous tenant's name was also not divulged to the new prospective tenant.
This previous tenant also failed to provide proper notice to vacate and instead wanted her aunt to move into her unit. This previous tenant was issued a 7-day notice by posting notice on the unit door.
All communication with this previous tenant will be through email or postal service only and an accounting of her rent and security deposit detail will be sent out only to the previous tenant according to the landlord tenant law requirements. This property manager is a stellar property manager and is very communicative, following all landlord tenant law requirements in all her dealings and will not be fired as there has been no violation of the previous tenant's privacy nor the landlord tenant laws.

Over $400 was taken out of my security deposit for postrental cleaning despite me cleaning the apartment myself absolutely within reason (move out clean != move in clean). I did not have pets and kept the apartment in good condition. I have ************** my own apartments on move out and I've never been charged for cleaning. $400 for this is absolutely absurd and I am concerned that if this business did this to me they are also doing this to people less fortunate than myself. I would like my $400 back and a warning to this business to not treat people this way in the future.Business Response

When I arrived at the unit it was completely dirty inside and out. There was no damage charged for except for the housekeeper to go in and clean the unit so the next person could move in.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I dont really want to get into an indirect back and forth with my prior landlord. I will say that the notion that the apartment was "completely dirty inside and out" is frankly absurd. I hope that wasnt ****** who wrote that because she would know that was a lie. In fact I like my prior landlord (*********************************) very much. She was otherwise very fair (to be fair I am also a stellar tenant). I believe she has a genuine misunderstanding of what constitutes tenant responsibility re moveout cleaning. Professional cleaning was not a responsibility in my lease and my cleaning was very thorough by nonprofessional standards. My suspicion is, if JackWhite did this to me they have a trend in doing this to others and if so perhaps there is a trend of complaints. I think only via following this chain of complaints will this problem be fixed as I can stomach a $400 theft but most renters cannot. If the BBB cannot find a trend of such complaints then I suppose my complaint should simply be noted for future reference in case such a trend develops.
Sincerely,

Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to highlight significant concerns regarding ongoing issues within our community managed by Jack White Real Estate, overseen by Property Manager **************************The problem centers around House 101, where individuals living in a black Yukon Denali consistently disrupt the community's peace. They violate lease rules by not residing in the house, using amenities without paying lot rent and water fees. These individuals engage in apparent drug-related activities, compromising community safety and violating lease rules. Despite repeated attempts to communicate concerns through emails, calls, and visits, there has been no action from Jack White Real Estate. There is a ***** contrast in the management's response. While they swiftly issue rent reminders and eviction notices for minor payment delays, they hesitate to address blatant violations at House 101.We have documented rule violations and disturbances, including signed testimonies from concerned neighbors. The lack of intervention from Jack White Real Estate leaves us feeling helpless and subjected to ongoing disruptions. We have contacted *********************** the Assembly Member of District 5 in the ************************* before too.I request the Better Business Bureau's urgent intervention to facilitate the prompt removal of these disruptive individuals from House 101. Their presence not only jeopardizes community safety but also violates lease rules. Community members deserve a peaceful living environment, and timely action is crucial to restore tranquility.Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.Sincerely, ********************* and Neighbors of *************************************** (TrailerPark) (P.S.-- we can forward any emails and media documentation we have over to any party. Along with a document signed by other Neighbors sharing the same complaints)Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
************************* has NOT asked ANY of us to accommodate her in court and I can prove that with other testimonies from other neighbors making like-wise complaints. I would be very cooperative and glad if she asked us personally to accommodate her in court regarding these neighbors as I have plenty of evidence and eyewitnesses to many drug deals and rule-breaking actions these Neighbors have made on a daily consistent basis (***********************************************). Currently, the problem is NOT fixed-- it's actually worse. The neighbors are still doing drug deals in broad daylight and have not left and continue to do the same illicit behavior while inviting more illicit traffic into the neighborhood. Since I filed the first complaint with the BBB regarding Jack White Real Estate, I have emailed ************************* several times complaining about the same neighbors and homeless people again, and I have yet to receive a response. We have made reports to our *********************** regarding these neighbors and have called the police on them before. We also have been in contact with our District 5 Leader of the ***************************** ***********************.
The management here is failing and lacking when it comes to communication or response regarding the complaints on illicit and suspicious behavior. This is our 2nd year making these same complaints, only now we have been making more than usual. They are quick to send out late notices and eviction letters but are very slow to get rid of the squatters/ homeless/ drug sellers and users that are not tenants which are disrupting our neighborhood and community. I can provide evidence of the last conversations I have made to Jack White Real Estate as well as any evidence relating to the people mentioned in the matter.
We and several other neighbors are very upset with management response here regarding these suspects and their consistent illicit behavior.
.
Sincerely,

We gave 15day notice to our management company before our lease was up on 09/30/2022. We explained my husband had a job offer in ******** with a time limit to get here. They ne rr gave us notice of our lease ending with any options to either resign or go month to month. They have charged us for the full month of October even though we moved out on the 30th of September with proof of the move out and boarder Receipt when we crossed into ******. We gave notice called and talked to them. ******** said they didn't have to call us about the end of the lease. Which is false. We want this resolved and taken care of. We also k ow they have done this to other residents they rent to.Business Response
