Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill - Amazon Imposter

I googled Amazon & dialed the number listed (888) 614-2266, a guy answered had heavy asian accent. I said I was calling to get my Amazon Prime membership number. I did not feel comfortable so I gave him a fake name. He than said my name was used in Texas, Chicago, North Dakota & New York & someone just purchased an IPhone & tablet totaling $1,687.15 so he said hold on while he send an email to the Fraud Dept. he came back in 1min & asked if I had accounts at the following Banks: Wells Fargo, Chase, Bank of America or M&T & he would have to transfer me to the Fraud Dept of each bank to gather some additional information to begin investigations, he then transfered me to a man with a heavier accent, I immediately asked him his name & office location. I could not understand his name but he said his office "was Washington DC" but could not provide the street or zip code. I hung up & he called back from (254) 750-7500 (Waco, Texas) I have blocked both numbers. I felt it was a scam.

I Googled the Amazon Customer Service number to cancel my Amazon Prime Account. I spoke with a man, who verified my phone number and address. I stated the reason for my call and he transferred me to a person in their "billing department." I explained that I wanted to cancel my Amazon Prime Account and he spoke with me for what seemed like forever. He then said that he was unable to close my account because it was showing that it was "pending" because it appeared that my account had been accessed by 4 people in various places, Kentucky, California, Houston and Kansas for large purchases and wanted to know had I made those transactions or did had I given them approval to make purchases on my account. I stated no and I don't know people from those states. He said, it appears that these hackers accessed your account through your online accounts. He told me (verified) my address, my email address and phone number and then told me that he would walk through how to file a report with the FTC. I asked, what does this have to do with cancelling my Amazon Prime Account and he said, ma'am, you will need to file this report because it's been hacked and we are unable to close the account due to the large pending charges on the account. I said, how much are the charges, he said $1165.00. I told him, I did not make those purchases and he said, yes ma'am, that's why I'm going to help you file the governmental report. He then said, looks like they previously have been using Bitcoin through your CashApp. I said, I don't have Bitcoin. He said, do you have the app on your phone. I said, yes. He then told me, no worries ma'am, I will help you get this resolved. He asked me to download Trust Wallet and somehow gained access to my CashApp account. While speaking with him on speaker, my boyfriend was listening to the conversation and said, he's a scammer, hand the phone up. I did! P***** and frantic, I checked my online banking account information and it indicated $1890.00 pending from my bank account to my CashApp as various Bitcoin transactions!!!

Credit Cards - paypal imposter

Contacted PayPal with number provided to discuss an issue. While on the line they offered me a deal for 5 years of Amazon Prime for $50 a year. $249.99. Sounded great & since I called them figured I was actually talking to PayPal people. Didn't find out it was a scam for 8 months when I was billed from Amazon for a regular year of service. I called to dispute this charge and found out the other one was the scam. Amazon doesn't offer any plan for more than one year. Now Discover investigated & claim they can't find anything wrong. Do not use 1-888-221-1161 to call PayPal. It has been cloned apparently.
