This store is verbally advertising that the provide facials and facial packages. My mom was there on Sunday, 5/25/25 was talked into a $300 facial as well as a facial package where she receives 10 facials over the course of a year as well as other medical grade products totaling almost $12,000. I went to the store on 5/26/25 seeking a refund and they gave me the run around. While in the store that day, the term facial was used numerous times. On 5/27/25, when I asked the business to provide their Barbering and Cosmetology license, they stated that they didn't need one. I had searched online prior to confronting them in the store. When I then asked to see the Esthetician's license who performed my mother's facial, I was told that they do not provide facials and therefore their employees do not require licenses. The employee stated that they always inform their clients that there are no licenses and that they never use the terminology "facials." However, the day before, the term was used frequently and not corrected by any of the personnel I spoke too. Additionally, not 5 minutes after I spoke to that employee another employee offered a woman a free facial. When I got home that day, my mom found a flyer they had handed her that stated "Facial Coupon". I called the Brea location of this store and was informed that they do provide facials and that all of their employees are licensed estheticians. They also informed me that they are a franchise and have no connection to this store. I want this business to be inspected as they are offering services that they legally cannot offer. Additionally, they are signing people up for annual packages when they will no longer be in business after June, 30th, 2025 as per the leasing office at he mall where the store front is located.
