Description

I called into Spectrum internet to schedule a payment for my bill that was due. An individual named "Adam Johnson" answered the phone and proceeded to help me with scheduling the payment. He then sent me conformation numbers from an actual Spectrum number via text that had conformation codes. After that he informed me that he could set me up with a "deal" to lower my bill, he said that all I had to do was agree to bundle my phone with my internet. He then stated that he would "call me back Friday the 30th to collect payment and send you a phone." He then promptly hung up the phone. After that I received emails from Spectrum that my username and password had been changed. I then called a different Spectrum number, and they verified that someone had accessed my account and changed everything. They had access to all of my personal information.
