I posted about my cat that was lost, a person reached out to me and gave me a number to text stating they can help me find my cat. I googled the number and it led me to pawslost website. I filled out information name, address, details about my cat . It then stated they needed 300.00 up front to deploy k9, drones, people to find my cat. It was then I looked up who owns the company, how long they were in business, address - I found nothing!! I then googled the business name and found results stating scams. They did text me asking for 300.00 as time was crucial to find my pet. I want to report this so others are not targeted. They got no money, no card, only my name and address. I’m glad I stated I have cameras outside my house.
