Description

Someone from "Merchant Services" claiming to be "the company who sends your statements" stated that they "have been sending notifications about a rate increase" but they "aren't sure if we are receiving them" and "just need to check to be sure". When asked to take us off their list, the "agent" got angry and INSISTED they "are NOT a sales call" and "they are trying to protect" our business. Again they said they were asking about the notifications on a specific part of the statement and that we should be seeing that on our statements. I told him we have a company we work with and it is not them. The "agent" got angrier and asked if we were getting the notifications or not and that he would "mark our account to say we aren't" just before I hung up on him. Per a quick Google search, this number is associated with scams.
