Description

I applied for an advertised Caregiver position on Indeed. It seemed suspicious as there were 2 listed using actual businesses but I was contacted by a gentleman claiming to be Bill Strahan looking for care for his 70 year old mother who suffers from arthritis. He claimed that they were relocating to my city ( never said where) I received an invitation to a webx meeting first which I was told to ignore but was directed to contact the individual listed at a generic email- [email protected] I was then asked for email, name, address, age, references, a couple photos. After asking whether this was a personal services contract or agency hire I became concerned. This just did not seem right. I researched Bill Strahan Comcast to find that this individual cannot be the same individual but someone masquerading as such. I contacted Indeed and reported
