Responded by email to advertisement on Facebook regarding French bulldogs for sale. Contacted by business the next day asking about our interest in one of their available puppies. Pictures & video were sent. I was quoted a price which included shipping costs + home delivery. The entire cost payable upfront came to $990 which I refused to pay. Seller agreed to pay half then and second half when puppy got received. I received signed copies of a Change of ownership/Bill of sale agreement upon receipt of $495. Next day Continental Pet Relocation asked for address verification. Later I received notice from them that they required a special crate to transport the puppy. I refused to pay $1495 to rent a crate with promise of 95% refund upon delivery. They offered a deposit of $530 with 95% refund. That amount was paid, upon receipt of funds same shipping company notified me to pay the full amount of $1495. Seller stayed in contact for 5-6 days by phone and texting until I asked for his name.
