Description

I booked a prepaid reservation for Azul Paradise Resort in Bocas del Toro, Panama through Memrical Inc., which billed me $1,930.50 on January 9, 2025. My stay was scheduled for April 1–4, 2025. On March 30, I received an alarming email from the company stating that on-site resort management had been "fraudulently" replaced, and guests were being told their reservations were not valid unless they paid cash to a new unauthorized operator. I was advised that my reservation would be canceled for safety reasons and that a refund would be issued. I submitted multiple requests for the promised refund, but the company has stopped responding. Their listed phone number does not work, and no refund has been processed. I am seeking a full refund for services not rendered and a formal investigation into their practices.
