I was contacted by someone claiming to be a customer service representative from “Paramount Pictures Group.” They offered me a remote online job, saying my resume had been recommended by online recruitment companies. The job supposedly involved helping with data updates and increasing visibility for the company. They claimed I could earn $200 to $660 per day and that the position included a 5-day paid trial period, after which I could sign an employment contract. They also mentioned benefits like paid leave, maternity leave, and paternity leave. The email they contacted me from was [email protected], which did not look legitimate. They also told me I must be at least 26 years old to participate, which felt strange given that I am only 11. I believe this is a scam and that they were trying to trick me into giving personal information or engaging in a fraudulent scheme. Please be aware of this scam, especially if you’re a minor, as these scammers are targeting young people.
