Company mailed a formal looking notice with tear off sides, looking like a notice from my county tax office. The outside return address said the name of my county and the state and the date of a recorded lien. Under that it had the scammers address. THe front also said CRITICAL notice and Past Due Tax Notice and requested any update in my home address. The inside said it would take the 5577.00 dollars and completely settle my tax issue and that I had to call by a certain date or my accounts would be liened. Only at the bottom, in tiny print, did it say "This is a private company."
