Posted a job listing that I accepted job description looked great and fit my work needs being a remote position. They then offered $40 which was pretty high at an hourly rate however times are tough so the pay sounded great to me. I received some documents within docusign to complete the contract looked 100% legitimate however once this was completed they wanted me to print out a check and deposit it into my bank account for the amount of $3,650. this amount was not deposited into my account as when I called my bank they directed me instantly that this is a scam and should be reported as well as my bank information changed because that was requested from me for new hire paperwork and then I also was directed of course to give my personal information along with my social security number in full which I did provide them. I also saw in an email correspondence that another member was in the email thread I had not heard of I reached out to see who it was and it was another potential employee in the same position as myself in finding out that this whole position is too good to be true and is unfortunately a scam.
