I received a letter the end of February 2025 from Global Financials (address 4010 Silver Star Road, Orlando, Florida 32820) Tel: 1-800-745-0381. The letter states it is an Award Claim Notification.. I am supposedly one of the winners in the "North America Consumer Promotion Draw" organized for all consumers of Wal-Mart, Sears, Home Depot, Safeway, etc. The letter states I have won US $450,500.00. The letter was mailed from Canada: East York Civic Center, 850 Coxwell Ave, East York, ON M4C 5R1 A Treasures check for $2,595.90 from the Ocean State Credit Union (Coventry, Rhode Island 02816) is enclosed. However, the check (in faint print) says Void. I was asked to send a check of $2,000 for a processing fee and an insurance fee before my winnings would be sent to me. The letter also said to call my Claim Agent (ROBERT HARRIS 1-800-745-0831.) The letter is signed by D.Williamson, Vice President Finance.
