I had 3 interviews with them and worked with them for one day. I found out they had gone by 3 different company names within the very short amount of time the company existed. They couldn’t give me any information on who the parent company is, where the manager had worked previously, or even what the job entailed prior to starting the job. I was told it was an “Event Assistant” job on LinkedIn, but upon working my first day I found out we just stand outside of stores to ask for donations for nonprofits. I was looking to further my career in events management, quit my old job, and now I am jobless because I don’t trust that the money I am potentially making from Elevation Denver is earned respectfully. I cannot fathom how an office of 30 or so twenty-something year olds can all be making $1600 a week by getting donations for places like the National Park Foundation.
