I purchased discounted ski tickets from a seller on the social media platform REDnote (Xiaohongshu), operating under the name “Moonlight North America International Travel.” The seller, verified with a blue checkmark, advertised Epic Pass tickets at a 40% discount. After payment via Zelle, I received a confirmation email from Northstar Resort. However, upon arriving at the resort, I learned the payment was never completed, and the tickets were invalid. Despite promises of a refund, the seller blocked me on REDnote and ceased communication.
