I have received several letters from this company stating that... "This notice is to inform you that the property's home warranty, at 2617 SE 190th Ave, Gresham OR 97030 secured by ONPOINT CMNTY CU, may be expiring or may have already expired. Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us yet to get your Home Warranty up to date." I do not have any kind of anything with this company, let alone home warranty insurance! The letter they sent is TOTALLY MISLEADING BECAUSE THE WAY IT'S WRITTEN GIVES THE IMPRESSION THAT THE ACCOUNT IS PAST DUE! When I called them to ask them to remove me from their list I had to give them a 'Customer ID' number that was on the letter, and the person I spoke to said she 'would see what she could do about getting me reinstated'! REINSTATED?! If I hadn't known better, it could easily be assumed that the recipient, me, had a past due account! Isn't this considered fraud? I can see older people falling for this very easily! In the past I have contacted them, asking them to remove me from their list, which obviously did not work, but this time when I asked I was told they do not have a list. I would appreciate anything you can do regarding this company's deceptive business practices! Thank you very much!
