The attempt to steal money came in the mail. I have kept the letter if more information is needed. They gave the Lender as Wells Fargo Bank NA. Only a phone number was given to contact them immediately for Home Warranty update: 833-932-0551 . No email or address information was given. Letter was "Signed" by Cal Varnson, Program Director. They had my full name and address. Since I will only contact the companies directly, i.e. Wells Fargo in this case, never through another party, Wells Fargo confirmed this was a scam. They were already aware and put alerts and additional security on customer accounts. I hope BBB will be able to catch and punish these people. I am happy to provide any additional information if I have or call the number given in the letter with a recording/witness on line. Thank you.
