Scammer advertised a free Yamaha U1 upright piano through Facebook Marketplace. Messaged them and was told "Hi, it's available and free. My sister recently lost her husband and she's giving away the piano. Her name is Rachel Cullins , contact her by email [email protected]". After emailing "her" about my interest, she mentioned that the piano is already with the moving company, and referred me to an email with AGS Movers to reroute it to my address. I contacted [email protected] and was given three shipping options, "Express premium: $720. Express Classic: $640. Smart Post:$550. Kindly confirm your preferred option, and we will promptly provide the necessary payment details to proceed with the rerouting." The email was written by a "Gordon Campbell" who included a short youtube video of the company with very little interaction. After confirming the delivery option I wanted, the accepted payments for their services were "via Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App". From here I figured that this was a scam and looked online to confirm.
