I received an email purported to come from Adas Renovations Group LLC for "hours of work programming new machines (large machines), execution date, /1/26/24". "Hours of work" claimed was 1 (a single hour). Cost claimed was $2,025.00" The company claimed to be the invoicing entity was Adas Renovations Group LLC. I am an architect living in New York City and have never heard of the company the fraudster claimed to be. Nor am I licensed in Colorado, and never have been. I looked up the address of Adas Renovations Group in Denver and used Google Earth to find the address given, which is the address your BBB has for Adas Renovations and it turned out to be a private house with a dog in the yard. The targeted company should be notified of what is happening and warned. I called the telephone number of Adas and got an answering message from a female voice, but did not leave a message. The "invoice" stated that my checking account would be debited for the requested amount. No such company is listed in my bank's list of payees. I do not wish to identify the bank. The invoice instructed me to call PayPal at (888) 927-4716 if I "did not authorize this transaction". This is not a PayPal number. I once had a PayPal account, but I no longer use it. My last PayPal transaction was on 3/30/2016.
