The scammer’s website was the first entry after a Google search for “apply for Global Entry.” I clicked on it without a doubt and filled in all my personal information. Not until the credit card payment stage did I realize this government service charged two separate fees. Before submitting payment I looked into this closely and realized the website wasn’t a .gov website!! The horror. I did everything except submit payment. Please beware. Please be careful.
