A fraudulent Cotopaxi ad was shown on Instagram for Cotopaxi to have a year-end sale. I purchased items, then told a friend about it and they could not find the same sales or prices. That's when I realized the website name was wrong (cotopaxinew.com vs. cotopaxi.com). I immediately canceled my credit card, but the charge was already pushed through. I contacted my bank and am hoping to be able to dispute the charge, but I wanted to ensure no one else fell into this scam. It appeared again on my Instagram today. I did contact the email provided on their "Contact Us" page and did get a reply. "Dear Customer, What is the reason for canceling the order? Your feedback is very important to us. We hope to do our best to solve the problem for you and make you satisfied! Due to the recent increase in shopping volume, the message reply is slow, please understand. Regards," I informed them I would be reporting them to the BBB and have disputed the charge.
