I was offered a job as a personal assistant via email. It was advised I'd be doing a 30 day internship and I would be paid at the end of my internship and then biweekly from there. The first few days of training were simple and easy tasks. On the third day, I was asked to deposit a check into my account and send the funds out. This was the red flag for me. Once I began questioning it, the "manager" then stopped responding to me. I did provide them with a direct deposit form so I've contacted my bank to try and get things changed so they don't have access to my account. Very sad. I was just hoping for a WFH job to support my family.
