Beware - I was contacted via WhatsApp about a 'wonderful' opportunity involving app optimization. They said they got my name from a recruiter at AppleOne, which I did have contact with. However, it has been a while. I missed that red flag. They said they were international so when 'she' was calling me dear I didn't think anything of it because I work for a foreign company and that's a common term. My job was supposedly to 'click' apps to rank them and make commissions plus a base salary. The company they said they are with is CreateIT. Their breakdown is as follows: They did not use an email address, so the email entered for them is incorrect. I do not know what country they are from, but I don't believe it's the US so that part is incorrect as well. Daily commissions Base pay $800 for 5 days 1500 for 15 days 3800 for 30 days and 500 for perfect attendance This sounded great. I was hesitant and asked for proof that they were legit. They sent me a business certificate. I should have looked it up.:( I did great the first 2 days and then I ran into a negative balance that I had to 'pay' - $400. I had cashed out before so I paid this thinking I would recoup, although it was cashed out to crypto/bitcoin. Then I hit a second one for $1650; which I greatly hesitated to pay. I borrowed this from a friend and then I hit another one for $5K. I didn't pay that. They were on me all day to pay so I wouldn't lose my commissions, promising to cash out. I wouldn't do that, and I had to block them. Thankfully, I was able to pay back my friend. There is no cash for you. It is entirely fake to get you to give more. Please do not fall for this. I told a friend about this, and he said that the woman he did work for just went thru this same company and lost $60K I am a well-educated and intelligent woman, and I fell for this. It is completely believable. They even have a forum of other workers. I believe some are new like I was, and some are plants to make it look like they are winning financial gains. This system has you pay in bitcoin so you cannot trace it to report it. You just lose your money. I was in this for 3 days, but others are being taken daily and have not caught on yet.
