On Facebook I was lead to a site called Jeffersontown Swap&Shop. They were advertising (and still are) a link to a "Work at home job". It was supposed to pay $25 per hour after one week of training and send you an office full of equipment. I was asked to download Microsoft Teams app for the interview which I did. I was linked to Crystal Burk. She was supposed to be with Peoria Rescue Ministries. I declined the job offer after a long interview as it was, as I felt, too good to be true. The next day I called the Peoria Area Ministries office and was quickly transferred to Tom. He said that they had been called several times from people inquiring of the legitimacy of the offer. He said that they are a legitimate missionary outreach but have changed their name last January and the lady is NOT, and has never been, affiliated with them.
