I was reached out via phone by a guy named Vincent about a job offer. Something didn’t sit right when the starting pay was $25. I was told to reach out to Imran via Microsoft Teams. I went through a “Interview” through teams and was told I received the job. The paperwork that was sent to me to fill out was all fake as it didn’t ask for any personal information such as social or even information for direct deposit. I was told after completing filing out the paperwork to print out their check via E-mail and sign the back. Once completed to take a picture of the check through my mobile app to add the check to my account. I was sent two checks for $850 and was told that it would be used for materials such as Laptop, printer, copier ETC for the Data Entry job. When looking up how to E-File a check this was not the correct way to do so. The guy I was speaking to on teams was way too pushy about getting things done to “ Start the job “.
