I applied to a job listed on Indeed.com and uploaded my resume. The job listing was at Cooper Eye Care as a proofreader. The following day I received an email and a text message stating the following: Dear Applicant, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Mrs. Gina Wilson, and I am an expert recruiter at Active Healthcare Management LLC. Congratulations on your interview session for Part-Time and Full-Time positions, the remote job offers a flexible work environment. Download Chatwork App from Google Play/ Apple App Store or visit https://www.chatwork.com/Activehealthcare Contact the hiring manager, Mr. Randy Pacaud via Chatwork ID:"Activehealthcare" using your interview code. Good Luck. Gina Wilson I then went to Google and looked up all the above information but none of it adds up. #1) Why would an Eye clinic need part-time and full-time proofreaders ? #2) Why does the text and email state it’s from Active Healthcare Management,LLC but when I search on Google that business has an address of 28th street, near Mussaffah-Abu Dhabi- United Arab Emirates?? #3) Phone number that sent me the text message requesting that I download the ChatWork app traces back to Waco, Texas. NONE of this makes sense and to make it even more strange, when I login to indeed.com and view the history of the jobs that I have applied for, this Cooper Eye Clinic listing says “error” and the listing can no longer be found, or has an error in the address bar….. Has to be a scam phishing for personal information. I have also alerted indeed.com about the issue but have received no response yet
