At the end of June 2024, I clicked on an Instagram ad that appeared to be from Marine Layer advertising a sale. I bought $97.87 worth of clothes that appeared to be heavily discounted, and got a confirmation email that also appeared to be from Marine Layer (but I should have checked the From email). The charge appeared on my credit card from "FINEKIRSSTYNLTD London". I got suspicious when two weeks passed and I never received my items, so I emailed Marine Layer's customer service directly and they replied to tell me the website was fraudulent and to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I still have not received the items I ordered, although the tracking number they provided has shown that the items have been "out for delivery" for more than a week. I suppose there's a chance the clothing will arrive, but it is very likely fraud.
