We discovered online tickets being resold as VIP tickets and our Venue had to turn patrons away at the door. As far as we can tell, their process works like this: Market on social media and online that VIP tickets are for sale online. (They are only available in person) The scammer then buys one of our actual tickets and resells it as a VIP for roughly $94 each. The ticket scans through, so the patron does receive access to the grounds, but then they get to the VIP lounge and find out they have been duped. We've tried to reach out to the 3rd party re-seller their verbiage turned quite legal when we brought this matter up to them. They even have tickets for 2025 for sale already and our organization has not launched any ticket sales at all for the 2025 event. Our ticket price is $20 per adult for general admission, $100 (at the door only) for VIP. They made these folks pay 460% over face value on general admission and they could not receive VIP like their ticket stated. So, it is a combination of real general admission tickets being sold as VIP and for un-natural amounts. We had 6 guests fall victim to this in April of 2024 and it looks like they are ready to do it again in April 2025. Simply put, the site appears to transact fake tickets on behalf of scammers.
