I was trying to reply for a remote job from home. I eventually was reached by someone named Aaron Daniel claiming to be from Oric Pharmaceuticals. I was told to reach out via signal number (728) 777-5230 to an Ira Beltran for interview. I did speak with person via phone and text via signal. I was also told to reach out to payroll to Rebecca Campbell at (201) 448-7762 via regular phone/texting. Her email [email protected]. The check I was mailed was fraudulent. I thankfully was able to contact the bank but I will lose money for the check being fraudulent. I also supplied them with a W-4 which contained my personal information. They said the funds were for equipment such as: microsoft teams, slack, zoom, skype, and google meet. For Salesforce, Hubspot, and Zoho. Also for Asana, Trello, ans Jira. Also for tools such as Apple Macbook pro, 15in, with touch bar, LaserJet Pro all in one printer, amazon dash refill, thunderbolt 3 to Display Port cable, and USB port .This is a scam and I know more people will fall for it. I hope someone can be caught.
