Fishing and luring customer to their site on the internet as a travel agent and assisting getting cheaper airfare. Once the flight was selected, there was options to upgrade flight for higher service with more money. You have the option to buy insurance protection. Submit credit card information for payment. Then you get this notification that the booking status in progress with flight booking terms and policies. The flights can be switched and all kind of nonsence. later on, received call from the scammer informing me that the flight going to my destination has been cancelled and will need to put me on a different airline same cost. Wanted to cancel the reservation all together, but the scammer gave me the running around and at finally convince me to change the flight. He forwarded information for me to review at least 4 times the same information and kept telling me there was a glitch in the system, it did not go through, and I will need to acknowledge the credit card agreement again. These were the multiple payments collected. Fortunately, the credit card company suspected fraud and alerted me. In the meantime, the scammer called late during the night attempting to get my attention. I had placed my phone on silence.
