Found a cheap flight online through a third party Fareoyard.com. Called the number. Was offered the best deal on the flight, gave them CC number. Received the email confirmation but never tickets. When called the Southwest Airlines couple weeks later to confirm that daughters DOB was corrected, was advised that I was never ticketed but instead was put on hold: enough for providing the confirmation number but the tickets. Their email stated the following: “PLEASE NOTE: We are handling your reservation and will send you the Tickets once the details entered by you is verified with the bank and the payment is charged. "Fares are not guaranteed until ticketed." Now reading the reviews, I understand I wasn’t the only one who was. They take money, create a 24 hour hold and never send the tickets. Then, they say that the rate has changed and the cancellation would cost half of that price.
