I have been job hunting and received a text and email, which are shown below. There were discrepancies, but I have known many companies to copy/paste and forget to edit, so I opted to ignore it. The site asked me to give a credit score with sound reasoning, and given it was just the score--not any other personal info--and it's not hard to pull someone's credit score I wasn't concerned, but rather than use their site, I just screenshotted my score and address bar from Intuit. The next day it was requested that I use their designated site to pull the report, which was the biggest red flag to me. I did some searching and found several instances of people saying it was a scam. I responded to the message, saying I wasn't comfortable using that site and that Intuit is a reputable company, and have yet to hear back.
