I got texts, in October 2023, January 2024, and two in April 2024, saying Bluegreen was trying to reach me and that they were holding meetings in my town over a couple of days within the following week, to disclose legal information. It included a link to book the appointment, which I did not click on. The texts sounded very official, but had some oddities, like the URL of the link and the way some of the words were capitalized. I ignored the first three and then called Bluegreen after the fourth one, to check and see if it was legitimate, which they told me it was not. They would not text--had no actual means to do so--and definitely would not text about legal matters. So I blocked the number and reported it as spam. Full text of the message: "Bluegreen Resort Owner [name] We are in efforts to make all reasonable attempts at disclosing information to you regarding recent legal proceedings that relate to your Bluegreen Interest/Ownership. We are holding a meeting in your area, [my town] on Thursday, [date], and Friday [date] Agenda: Legal disclosures that will take approximately 1 hour.
