I was contacted through email and text message about an interview with a company called Solve-NY, there were LinkedIn job descriptions for at least two opportunities at this "company". I did not remember applying to either, but I have filled out so many job applications at this point that I was just excited to have an opportunity for employment. I attended the first Zoom meeting with a person named Aiden, who had an Australian accent and described his background as in finance. He talked in vague terms about the company for about ten minutes and then the call ended. I was contacted again via text and email setting up an interview for the following morning, and then radio silence. No response to email, text, phone call, nothing. I'm not sure what the scam is, but the unresponsiveness and inability to be contacted struck me as fraudulent.
