I searched for "TSA Pre-Check" on Google, and the first result says, "TSA Precheck Application" and in smaller text says, "resortdestinationsmag.com," which I unfortunately missed and clicked on the link, thinking it was the TSA site. The application page looks very official. I entered my information in, but knew something was off when it took me a payment page and asked for $148.95 Preparation fee + $85.00 TSA Application Fee (to be paid in person when you go to your interview). When I closed the browser and decided not to pay, I later got two emails in my Spam inbox, asking me to come back and finish my TSA Pre-Check application.
