Meet through a dating app. Talked for about a week then he said his job was taking him to Birmingham, UK for a job. RED FLAG 1. I said here we go...He told me when he was leaving and texted once he arrived, he arrived a little earlier than what I was expecting. Google works wonders. I would ask what time it was and he would always tell me the wrong time. Finally, after a couple of weeks came the "I am locked out of my bank account and need money to keep my internet so I can continue to talk to you. Please send me an iTunes 100 gift card. RED FLAG 2! I pushed back with the knowledge that iTunes has nothing to do with the internet that is all done through your phone and the place you are at currently. Now he wants me to invest in BitCoin, through a site he recommends...gave me his username and password. It was such a generic site that I knew it wasn't real. RED FLAG 3! I keep playing along with his games. I say I can't, he tries multiple times to get me to invest 500 into BitCoin. I finally went off on him, called him a fake and much worse things. He went off on me as well. Me thinking it was over finally, I was tired of the game play...he texted me the next day. I said, ok...I will continue to play...Talked for a couple more weeks and he wanted to see my driver's license, he showed me his, which was blurred. So I sent him a picture of mine SEVERLY blurred out. Next, he wanted to see my ssi. I questioned him on that and he said social security number. I lied and said I can't find it. meanwhile, he sent me a picture of his, I knew it was fake once I looked at it. two different backgrounds in the pictures from the front of ssn card to the back of ssn card (BTW his number was 736-45-3771). He keeps asking for it and i just either ignore him or change the subject. He now wants to save money with me for our "future" and wants to plan a trip with me to Paris (lol). so now he wants to open a joint account with each of us putting in 500. I pushed back on it and said I put 500 in a different account of mine and he went off. I am done playing and am exhausted. BitCoin websites mentholassets.com megassets.com With these two sites, I did question him on why the first one was no longer a site, cause I tried it last week just to make sure I was correct in assuming it was fake. He said they were doing upgrades to it and improving security with the site. He sent me the "new" link and i questioned him on why the name change. All part of the upgrade is what he said. Same fake site with both "names" entwined within the site.
