I was fraudulently induced into purchasing a trip package from them October 24, 2023 after they reached out to me on Facebook. I then reached out to the company Booksi. aka Monster RG representatives advised that I would be able to cancel anytime if I wasn't able to use the trip or if I wasn't satisfied. The representative also advised I would be able to use the trip whenever was convenient for me, not when it was available for them. The representative said the Grand Oasis was for 6 days/5 nights at $299, no additional costs so I agreed. The representative then said for an additional $199 I could get 3 more trips anywhere in the US, Mexico and Caribbean. Well since I was told I could cancel at any time and if I wasn't satisfied for a refund I agreed. They took the $25 deposit 10/24/2023 and then the balance of $417.73 on 10/27/2023. I called to find out why when I tried to schedule a trip I was told the hotel I purchased, Grand Oasis Cancun, wasn't available, but I could go to another hotel, that was less than desirable and during a time I was not able to travel. After going back and forth with Lorenzo, he then advised me that Monsterrg.com is where I would have to book, not Booksi, the company I originally spoke with and thought I was doing business with. Lorenzo then refused to allow me to speak with a supervisor, put me on hold for 20 minutes after telling another representative that "I just want to go home" to continue to refuse to provide me with his supervisors information as well as legal departments contact information. I advised that what he was telling me was not what I was told by the representatives prior to purchase, because if I had known what he was telling me, I would NOT have purchased anything from them! I demanded a refund of my money to which he stated that they have a 30-day refund policy and I wouldn't get a dime. Problem with that is that all those disclosures must be made PRIOR to any purchase, they weren't! I have reached out to the representatives that conned me via email and am awaiting their call. I will be filing with the TX AG, Federal Trade Commission, SEC, BBB, and other state/federal agencies. Consumer Fraud, Deceptive Trade Practices and Fraudulent inducement are not acceptable.
