I came across Rebecca Machado via their Facebook Group (Boxer Puppies for Adoption Near Me) and reached out to her privately via Facebook Messenger (See conversation below). There were several posts on Rebecca's Facebook Group's page suggesting "success stories" from individuals that have "adopted" from her, but they all seemed suspicious. I also brought up another BBB scam report on her, which she denied was about her and explained as a "stranger just wanting to hurt her reputation." We exchanged numerous messages discussing available puppies before she asked for payment. I requested a video call/ FaceTime with Rebecca the following day (before making a payment), which she agreed (See conversation below) to, but when confirming this she denied me of the opportunity and blocked me.
