Received email from Jessica Lee with the email address [email protected] from the business Bristol Child Safety Kits. Their website is ************************ and email address is [email protected]. The first email I received was a solicitation to purchase safety kits for a local Elementary School. The first paragraph of that email is: " We’d like to invite your practice to participate in a special program that we are coordinating with Maggie Cordova Elementary in Rio Rancho. Through this program, every child will receive a child safety kit, which includes basic medical information for the parents to fill out with a Pediatrician. Since the medical information in the kit should be filled out with a Pediatrician, and your office is very close to their location, we wanted to extend this invitation to your practice."
I then received another email from the business. They had initially stated that I was the “only” sponsor of this program, and then their 2nd email alluded that I was not the only sponsor. Also, the credit card link was to a square card reader which did not seem legitimate.
I reached out to Maggie Cordova Elem school and they were not aware of such a program and they said I would receive an email from the Rio Rancho Public school system for such a program.
I did not provide my payment information, but I have scanned my computer for malware.
