Created a group called “Havanese puppies from reputable breeders” on facebook to lure in those petloving individuals looking to get puppies. Initial agreement was to pay $500 for deposit that will also cover shipping and then pay the remain8ng $350 upon delivery of the puppy. Deposit was made through online payment zelle on December 31st 2023 with the agreement of shipping the puppy on January 4, 2024.. Bill of sale was received January 2nd 2024 but contact person Elizabeth Sophia asked for additional payment of $125 for puppy food. Buyer did not pay additional fee due to the understanding that the puppy would not need that much food if its getting shipped in a day. On january 4, buyer received an email from shipping company asking for $699.99 to rent or buy an air conditioned crate to ship the puppy. Payment will again be through zelle. Upon checking shipping website to contact directly and confirm if the crate is necessary, the address on file was a home address in north hollywood which was even mispelled on the website. No other contact information can be found online.
