I had received a Facebook share with a possible remote job opportunity. I looked into it and decided to apply to the company so I asked the person who shared the information, and this is where things seemed legit. This person told me this job was nice and super easy to get down after a while, even told me how the benefits were hit or miss, and even how some people they work with suck. They asked me to download telegram, and then we went right into an instant message interview. They seemed super nice and professional after I had given them very honest answers. They said I passed the questionnaire and I am eligible for hire. They sent me an email to send my information "securely." I looked into this insurance company, I looked at the BBB, I was very sure this was legit. I sent ALL of my information and never got a response back. I have since contacted Elevance Health and spoken with multiple people and have since reported the fraudulent act. I have not had anything happen yet, but I am trying to prevent it. Also elevance health did indeed say this was a scam, and that they do not use telegram to interview people.
