I called what I thought was the JetBlue customer service line that was displayed on a Google search result to help me book a flight. I spoke with a man who gathered all the necessary flight information and my credit card number. I was sent a suspicious "confirmation" email that was not from an official JetBlue account and I immediately cancelled my credit card before any charges had been made. In addition to the 888 number I was connected with, the "representative" named Sam Wilson also reached out to me via text from the number 214-764-8497, threatening to cancel my flight confirmation if I did not pay the fee.
