hired JB back in April for garage roof repair and gutters replaced on the whole house. I had given him $2500.00 via venmo to order the supplies for the job. We received the roofing supplies with in the week and proceeded to tell me that the gutters were ordered and they would come when they are ready to be hung. He constantly stiffed us or had an excuse as to why he wouldn't be here to do the job. We finally got him here for the roofing job, but also took our money to schedule the Waste Management garbage pick ups. Which he never had done either. Telling us it wasnt his fault they havent come to pick up the bags yet, along with leaving a huge mess on the side of our garage. We did finally get the money to get those bags picked up. Moving forward with the gutters, he set a date, when we called the supplier for the gutters, the gentlemen told us he knew JB, and he did not place any orders for our address. I had reached out to JB and told him that if he could not complete this project he needed to back out and continue to do payments for me as he could not pay the whole amount up front. The original agreement was to pay $200 for 8 weeks. Then it went to $100 for 16 weeks as the original amount owed was $1600.00. He did pay $100 but it was a week late. At this point we have given him numerous chances to pay us. As i have posted on fb a handful of times, I have found out I am not the only one he owes money too. This man doesnt seem to be licensed - and from what I have been told has warrants out for his arrest in Erie County. Please help me spread the word! I will be taking whatever steps I can to get my money back. Thank you.
