Description

I saw an ad for Bright Money to help with debt consolidation. I signed up through the app, completed all the requested information and paid the annual membership fee. I was told that I was eligible for an initial credit of $2200 which would be paid directly to credit cards I added and if I kept up with payments, I would be eligible for additional credit. I requested the payment transfers and received a message that it would be completed in two business days. The payments never went through. When I attempted to contact Bright Money through their in-app chat feature, I received a message that I would be contacted within 48 hours. I never received a reply. I tried calling and was told to contact them through the app. I tried canceling my membership and was referred back to the chat. I then emailed support and the email bounced back. I have received no indication that Bright Money has received my messages or intends to rectify the situation.
