Subsequently, an individual by the name of "Monty Gibbs" contacted me using the company's official Indeed email address a few days after my application. Mr. Gibbs requested that I respond to a series of approximately ten interview questions, during which he obtained my personal information for the purpose of the interview process. Following my request for the company's address and a face-to-face meeting to discuss the opportunity further, Mr. Gibbs forwarded an employment contract. Regrettably, the address provided on the employment contract, which was stated as 2775 Mathson Blvd E, Mississauga, ON L4W 4P7, does not correspond to the location of Mr. Gibbs's company. Instead, the specified address belongs to a distinct entity engaged in the production of medical devices. It became evident that Mr. Gibbs's company is not situated within the aforementioned building. To sustain his fraudulent scheme, Mr. Gibbs claimed to be on a business trip, thus justifying his inability to conduct an in-person interview. He then proceeded to solicit my services as a personal assistant for two weeks. I am fully aware that his subsequent ploy would entail requesting me to purchase gift cards or engage in other illicit activities, potentially leading to the disclosure of my banking information.
