I got a text on June 5, 2023-saying: Hello, Shelia Chughtai, I'm Mrs. Evelyn Franklin from Pharmaust Limited. Your resume has been reviewed on Careerbuilder. You have been selected for an interview with us for the Remote Customer Service Position. Please reply back if interested. On that day, through skype--Evelyn Franklin--live:.cid.db5el5dba79370b2--I answered interview questions. I was emailed an offer of employment. I signed the offer of employment. Scanned and emailed it back to her. I was told that the company would send funds to purchase equipment needed to perform job. I was told by Mrs. Franklin to contact her 8 AM--consecutively to let her know if I had received the check. I did notify her and was told by my bank that the funds would be available--June 9. 2023. It was sent by UPS to my home address. I had a check deposited for $4500. It did not clear the bank. I contacted Mrs. Franklin to inquire what happened. She claimed that the check was good. She asked me if I could pay for the equipment, I told her I did not have any funds. She asked me if I had another account. I told her no. She offered me another position that would pay in bitcoin. I refused. She just wished me good luck.
