I was currently looking for a remote job and received a text about a job I applied to. Didn’t remember the name of every company I applied to so I assumed I must have. I was a little skeptical after they asked me to download “Signal” to communicate. I exchanged some information and filled out some “paperwork” but then said I had to deposit money in my account to purchase software. That seemed off because what company send you money to purchase software when they can send them the money and ship it to you? Somethings weren’t adding up. He asked me to send a portion of a check they sent through email and I deposited it. I never sent them any money I deposited. As of right now I know it is a scam and waiting for the money to not clear
