The Women's Image Network/Women's Image Awards/ Light Productions Inc. (EIN: 95-4363001) isn't registered as either a non-profit nor as a corporation. I and two others worked for this organization and have not received payment after 6 months. We're now in small claims court, where the owner has refused to be served via the Sheriff. The founder, Phyllis Stuart, was unprofessional: yelled at staff and talent, sneered at disabled staff, demanded unrealistic 24 hour work. And although staff were verbally abused and required to work long hours (documenting them) she refuses to acknowledge staff hours and pay them.
