Green Power Energy (https://greenpowerenergy.com/) sales representatives stopped by several times and stated that they were working on behalf of State Senate Bill 350 to lower rate payer bills due to large rate increases by LADWP. He stated that his organization was funded by taxpayers and he works on salary, similar to a rate payer advocate. Once I let him into my house he asked to look at my utility bill and, as I was pulling that up, it became clear that he was just selling/leasing solar panels. He wasn't funded by the state, he wasn't on salary, he was looking to sell a solar system (he was surprised I already had one). Very dishonest sales efforts by this company and people should avoid.
