Description

The scammer operates a website that looks almost identical to the website of a business based in Austin Texas called The Avenue by Lyndsey Zorich. I attempted to purchase a sweater from this website, but did not receive confirmation of the sale, nor did I receive a response when I attempted to contact the website. When I saw a charge on my credit card from a vendor called Blooming Technologies Investments, I knew that I had given my credit card info to a fake website. I contacted my bank to file a dispute and then I filed a complaint with the FTC. I also reached out to the The Avenue (the real one) and found out that they are actively trying to get the fake website removed. I am hoping that this complaint will help them in their endeavor as well as protect more consumers from falling for the same scam I did.
